Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our team. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients and assisting them in selecting appropriate insurance coverage. This is a sales-oriented role that requires effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate recommendations
- Conduct sales activities, including preparing quotes, processing applications and conducting insurance reviews
- Collect insurance premiums from assigned block of customers monthly
- Conduct outside sales visits to potential clients and present insurance options
- Grow the assigned agency by selling insurance policies to individuals and families
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles
- proficiency in English and is highly desired
- Knowledge of insurance products, benefits administration, and HIPAA regulations is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build rapport with clients and establish long-term relationships
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Multilingual abilities are an advantage
