What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sprinter/Cargo Van Owner-Driver position at Delta Logistics Inc?
Good afternoon truckers,
We are looking to hire cargo van, box truck, and large straight drivers/owners for our company Delta Logistics inc. We work within an independent contract agreement and offer very competitive rates. You can always negotiate the price with our dispatchers as well. If you are interested, feel free to consider our requirements below;
Basic Requirements
1. Be: a US citizen, resident, or work authorization holder.
2. You and your drivers should be at least 21 years of age.
3. You and your driver should speak, understand, and read basic English.
4. No criminal record.
5. All drivers should be approved, accepted, and registered with Delta Logistics to accept a load from the company.
6. Delta Logistics does not hire company drivers. You are submitting the application to execute a written independent contractor agreement as an owner-operator.
Vehicle Requirements
1. All vehicles should not be over 10 years of age or else: full-inspection
2. All vehicles should have a minimum of 4 straps and PPE
3. All decals should be removed unless the company is under your authority.
4. If you make any changes to your vehicle, you should inform us before putting the vehicle on the road.
You also must send registration and insurance for the vehicle. Covid-19 Vaccination and Travel Requirements
1. If you would like to make deliveries to Canada or Mexico, you must have a non-expired passport and a two-dose vaccination certificate.
