Job Summary
Under general supervision, the billing specialist is responsible for administrative duties, organizing, tracking, and applying payments to customer accounts. This role involves providing customer service with accounts, balance dues, collections. Reaching out to customers regarding declined charges.
Essential Job Functions
- Works in conjunction with the Customer Service & Sales Teams to ensure process compliance, job completion, and customer satisfaction through the billing process.
- Bills and closes all plumbing jobs with customers and Home Depot.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all customer jobs.
- Facilitates strict Delta Mechanical and Home Depot collections process to secure all uncollectible funds from THD.
- Serves as the control point for all customer refunds verifies proper authorization and processes verifies refunds in a timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work directly with customers while maintaining a positive experience for the customer.
- Completes all the required Company training / compliance courses assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.Experience
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Billing and Payroll field.This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.License & Certifications
