Essential Job Functions
- Prepare work areas : Clear debris, expose pipes by cutting open walls, identify leak locations, and set up materials at job sites.
- Assist with pipe installation : Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes according to specifications, using tools like pipe cutters and wrenches.
- Install fixtures : Help with the installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Drain cleaning : Assist in unclogging drains using appropriate tools and methods.
- Tool management : Carry and organize plumbing tools and materials at job sites.
- Basic maintenance tasks : Replace filters, clean drains, and perform minor repairs as directed.
- Safety compliance : Follow all safety protocols while working on job sites.
- Clean up : Remove debris and clean-up work areas after completing tasks.
