Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Technician at Delta Mold in Charlotte, NC. The Quality Technician will be responsible for day-to-day quality control tasks, analytical skills, quality auditing, quality assurance, and quality management in the manufacturing process. Duties may include the review of raw materials, work in process (WIP), processes, and finished products within Manufacturing Operations (from Receiving to Shipping) to ensure that our customer receives consistent and reliable products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct/verify first piece inspections, bi-hourly quality inspections/in-process audits, and dock audits to ensure all production processes are being followed
- Conducts incoming inspection of raw materials and documents results
- Document all inspections and findings on appropriate forms and in ERP system. Report discrepancies to Operations and Quality Manager.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Gives direction, guidance, and feedback to operators in regards to quality concerns
- Strong communication skills and teamwork
- Previous experience in manufacturing or quality control
- Certifications in quality management or related field
