Job Title: Armed Security Officer
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify potential security risks
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment
- Handle conflicts or disturbances in a professional and calm manner
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred
- Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certificate to start right away. ( We do offer the armed guard classes to get you working faster)
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively
- Strong First aid, CPR, and other relevant certifications are an asset. Ability to administer Narcan and conduct CPR when needed
- Ability to work in a militarized environment with attention to detail
- Two way radio use
