Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a Protocol Subject Matter Expert at Peterson SFB, CO. This position oversees all events, meetings, visits, conferences, and ceremonies in support of United States Space Forces Space (S4S) General Officers, senior leaders, and subordinate offices. This includes organizing and supporting protocol events and products, providing advice and counsel, and supporting visitors. Applicants who do not possess a current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility will not be considered.
\n- Create and provide high-quality protocol event products to accommodate meetings and hosted events of the CDR/DCDR/CSEL for S4S and to support S4S Protocol.
- Create and provide completed products as directed and ensure rooms are fully set up and prepared prior to meetings, events, and visits. This may require performing work at Peterson SFB, Schriever SFB, Cheyenne Mountain SFB, Buckley SFB and other facilities in the local area. Occasional travel to Vandenberg SFB, CA may also be required.
- Assist the S4S Protocol team in all daily operational support needs, monitor the workflow inbox and Outlook calendars, make reservations for rooms, edit and update meeting slides and calendars.
- ·Provide the Protocol office with advice and counsel for events and meetings, lead S4S Protocol planning for local Colorado Springs events, ensure that events occur in an efficient manner, and coordinate with higher echelon, component, subordinate and other headquarter Protocol offices (e.g. US Space Command, Space Operations Command, NSDC, MWC, etc.) to ensure smooth and seamless Protocol support to senior S4S leadership.
- Provide support for DVs, events and ceremonies as required, and draft/review event books, coordinate with Action Officers and leadership offices and be flexible in support ours including evening and weekend support.
- 5 years’ experience supporting senior military leadership with Protocol requirements and responsibilities.
- Experience initiating and developing Government specified content for Protocol offices.
- Experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations for mission and program challenges.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and in a distributed team that is geographically separated from S4S headquarters at Vandenberg SFB.
- Ability to organize and execute Protocol functions successfully with minimal oversight or reach back capability.
- Formal Protocol training preferred but not required (e.g. Protocol School of Washinton, or similar) with direct Protocol experience taking precedence.
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance or Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
