JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Delta Utilities is seeking a Digital Manager will develop and execute Delta Utilities' digital strategy across web, social media, and other digital platforms. This role will be responsible for creating seamless digital experiences that enhance customer satisfaction, drive operational efficiency, and support our company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic thinking to transform our digital capabilities as we expand our service territory.

 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Digital Strategy & Implementation

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with Delta Utilities' business goals and enhances customer experience
  • Lead the ongoing management of the company website, ensuring it effectively supports customer needs during our service expansion
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and guide ongoing improvements
  • Stay current on digital trends and emerging technologies in the utility industry to identify opportunities for innovation

 

Customer Experience

  • Create intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences that simplify customer interactions with Delta Utilities
  • Develop digital onboarding processes for new customers transitioning from Entergy to Delta Utilities
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure digital channels effectively support customer needs
  • Analyze customer journey data to identify pain points and opportunities for digital enhancements
  • Implement personalization strategies to deliver relevant content and experiences to different customer segments

 

Content Management

  • Oversee the creation and management of digital content across all platforms, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and messaging
  • Develop a content strategy that educates customers about our services, particularly during the transition period
  • Implement effective content management systems and workflows
  • Ensure all digital content meets accessibility standards and works across multiple devices
  • Collaborate with Communications and Marketing teams to coordinate messaging across digital channels

 

Digital Marketing & Analytics

  • Manage digital marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and support customer acquisition and retention
  • Oversee social media strategy and implementation, building community engagement and supporting customer service
  • Implement comprehensive analytics across digital properties to track performance and user behavior
  • Generate regular reports on digital performance metrics and provide insights to guide strategic decisions
  • Optimize digital channels for customer acquisition, engagement, and service utilization

 

Technology Management

  • Work with IT to ensure digital platforms are secure, reliable, and meet technical requirements
  • Manage relationships with external digital vendors and agencies
  • Evaluate and recommend new digital tools and platforms to enhance customer experience
  • Oversee implementation of digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain a digital roadmap aligned with the company's technology infrastructure

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum education required of the position

  • Bachelor's degree in digital media, marketing, or related field

 

Minimum experience required of the position

  • 5 years of experience in digital management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital strategies

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position

  • Experience in utilities, energy, or similar regulated industries preferred
  • Proficiency with content management systems, analytics platforms, and digital marketing tools
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing techniques
  • Experience managing digital transformation initiatives or major platform migrations
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Data-driven approach to decision making with strong analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

600,000 customers and become one of the leading natural gas providers in Louisiana and Mississippi and among the top 40 providers in the United States.

In 2023, Entergy announced that it had entered into an agreement with Delta Utilities to sell its Louisiana gas distribution business. The natural gas utility currently serves more than 200,000 customers across East Baton Rouge and Orleans parishes. In February 2024, Delta Utilities entered into an agreement with CenterPoint Energy to acquire its Louisiana and Mississippi natural gas businesses, which currently serve approximately 381,000 customers. Once the transactions are complete, Entergy's Louisiana natural gas operations and CenterPoint Energy's Louisiana and Mississippi natural gas systems will be operated by Delta Utilities.
