Job Title : Production Support Engineer

Location : Washington, DC 20002

Duration : 18 months contract

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Production Support Engineer to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support for critical enterprise applications, infrastructure, platforms, and network services.
This role serves as an escalation point for complex technical issues and involves working with applications such as Application Extender, the LOV tool used for tracking wheel defects, and providing additional support for the Work Management System as needed.
The engineer will play a key role in resolving high-impact issues, offering technical expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities :

Provide production system support for end-users, applications, platforms, and network services. Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Support and maintain applications including Application Extender, LOV tool, and Work Management System.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests.

Participate in root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues.

Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend optimization strategies.

Document processes, procedures, and technical solutions to enhance knowledge sharing.

Assist in project-related activities as a technical consultant and subject matter expert.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices for system maintenance and security.

Provide after-hours support as needed to address critical production issues.

Required Skills :

Python, Application Extender, LOV tool used for tracking wheel defects, and Work Management System.
