This is a backfill for a candidate of ours that will be getting converted to an FTE 1 / 31. Start Date will be Feb
Location : Need to sit onsite in Bellevue, WA. Must be local or 100% confimred able to be in Seattle by day 1.

Intake Notes :
- Will start hybrid. There is a chance this can go 5 days in office in 1-2 months (depends on direction from head office)
- The project is buidling and deploying capabiities onto the POS system's checkout application
But our requirement is 2 - QEs (Bentonville) fully in person, 4- SDEs (Seattle) Also in person. Depending on office space we may see if it will be hybrid
Must Haves (please include reactjs & Nodejs glider's with submissions) :
1) It will be 70% React.js & Node.Js
2) 30% Java
3) NoSQL
4) System Design experince
5) Integrating FE w / backend API's
6) HIGHLY DESIRED to come from POS / checkout system experience in (retail)
Senior Software Engineer :
In the role of Senior Software Engineer you will collaborate with a talented group of frontend engineers to develop a seamless checkout experience. This checkout system will be employed by our customers who utilize staffed-checkout lanes.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, product managers, UX designers, and operations teams to ensure the development of secure, stable, and scalable products for our associates and customers.
Our team's focus areas include improving the customer experience, enhancing in-store services, developing merchant tools, utilizing data science for merchants, and optimizing search and personalization capabilities.
