Our client is seeking Learning Disability Teacher Consultants in Mercer, Burlington, Middlesex counties in New Jersey.
Hours vary dependent on the school up to $65 hourly.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Duties included are light case management, evaluations and meetings.
School psychologists assist students at all levels, from elementary school to college. They act along with school counselors as advocates for students' well-being, and as valuable resources for their educational and personal advancement. As a school psychologist, you'll first and foremost listen to students' concerns.
- Administer test and recommend placement for exceptional and new students.
- Recommend corrective procedures.
- Conduct individual, group or facilitative therapy for children. Confer with parents or teachers whenever necessary.
