Our client is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Richmond area.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor and assess residents' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care and other medical interventions as needed.
Perform G Tube feedings and ensure proper nutrition and hydration for residents.
Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and medical treatments.
Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Educate residents and caregivers on health management and medication protocols.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Current LPN license in good standing in Virginia or have a "Multi-state Privilege" license eligible to work in multiple states.

Proven experience in medication administration and G Tube feeding.

Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the group home location.
