Our client is seeking School Social Workers or the following counties :

Middlesex and Mercer

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

Identify needs : Assess clients' needs, strengths, and support networks
Provide counseling : Offer advice and direction to help clients improve their situations
Help clients adjust : Help clients adjust to changes and challenges in their lives
Challenge social injustice : Provide solutions for social injustices, particularly for clients living in poverty and facing discrimination and unemployment
Promote policies : Promote policies and practices that demonstrate respect for difference, support cultural knowledge, and safeguard the rights of all
Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and evaluation, Supportive counseling, and Graduated disengagement.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Minimum of a Master's Degree

Minimum of two (2) years experience in Child Study field

NJ State Certifications

Experience treating young adult populations

Ability to complete and pass background checks prior to starting

School based experience with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations

Experience with Time Management, Deadlines, Diverse School Settings

Familiar with evaluations, therapy, and case management

Must be willing to obtain register / archive fingerprints under Delta-T Group codes.
