What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special education aide position at Delta-T Group, Inc.?
Special Education Classroom Aides will work under the direction of the classroom teacher to provide extra support to students with special needs.
Candidates applying for this role may also be known as student aides, teacher assistants, instructional aides, one-to-one aides, paraprofessionals, personal care assistants and more.
We have openings for students of all ages.
- Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups of students
- Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class
- Supervise students in the cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallways, on field trips, and / or during before and after school programs
REQUIREMENTS :
- Require some experience with children and must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- High School diploma / GED
- Pre employment screening
