Job Overview
As a Diesel Mechanic with travel opportunities, you will play a critical role in maintaining our fleet of heavy equipment. You will work closely with your team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain heavy equipment, including tank trucks, flatbeds, and light duty vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair problems with heavy equipment, including engines, structural systems, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
- Travel up to 50% of the time to various locations across Alaska.
Requirements:
- Class B Commercial Operator's License (CDL) required.
- Current ASE Certifications and/or Automotive certifications and/or Medium/Heavy Truck certifications required.
- 5 years' experience as a heavy diesel mechanic or 10 years' experience as a technician in another fleet or retail automotive environment required.
