Job Description:
">- Coordinate and direct vessel and barge operations, terminal inventory planning, and supply modeling through direct employee supervision, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Forecast and manage internal and external terminal and vessel inventory.
- Develop and implement strategies to establish and maintain supply and transportation planning and budget models.
- Ensure the efficient scheduling and determination of logistics for all marine assets.
- Manage all marine vessels from a compliance, operational, and cost perspective.
Responsibilities:
">The Marine Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of marine and shoreside personnel. This includes organizing all operational functions of tanker, tug, barge charters, and sub-charters.
The role also involves facilitating tanker operations with vessel crew, inspectors, and agents. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to complete regulatory EPA and EIA testing and reporting, as well as import and export reporting and tax requirements.
The Marine Operations Manager will also be responsible for managing cargo quality standards and ensuring compliance, coordinating with customers to facilitate barge deliveries, and arranging cargo inspector nomination, sampling, and testing.
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine petroleum logistics and/or marine operations preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
