The Manager, Business Performance will lead a team responsible for overseeing the reporting, analysis, and support of tactical and strategic initiatives for a business unit team in Technical Operations, including the implementation of new processes and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
Interacting with multiple business units within Technical Operations and will represent Aircraft Maintenance and Airport Technical Operations, at various daily meetings concerning Operational Performance, Planning, Financial Support, Compliance, and various projects.
Successful candidates will be able to combine business and process acumen to move projects forward and to produce comprehensive monthly financial/operational package containing narratives, and key metric performance.
Projects include identifying and implementing improvements to existing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance, as well as implementing new processes across the department to achieve goals and desired outcomes.
Ability to lead and perform with minimal supervision.
Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Develop both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelors degree in Operations, Management, Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years experience in operations or analytical environment.
Must have solid understanding of TechOps business processes, cost structure, and budget and cost analysis.
Advanced computer, analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of process and metric correlation.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Must be a strong team player, be detail oriented, and perform well under pressure.
Must also convey professional image with ability to lead, manage, and communicate to all levels in a team environment.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently with very little instruction or supervision.

Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Master of Business Administration
Previous supervisory experience.
Understanding of statistics, data analysis techniques, simulation, and other industrial engineering principles.
Ability to diagnose functional area strengths and weaknesses and develop recommendations for improvement.
Training and experience in project management, process optimization, change management, facilitation and internal/external consulting.
