Mainframe Migration Engineering Expert
Location : Remote must be EST or CST
Job Description :
Client is seeking a Mainframe consulting expert with hands on experience in migrating z / 0S from 2.1 to 3.1. Must have technical and leadership experience. Understand the workflows.
Client environment and technical skills you should possess are z / 0S, ZVM. Related tools / products including LPAR configuration, MQ Series (not a must have), DB2 COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS and mainframe ISV software.
Must Haves :
2)& & & & & Extensive subject matter expertise and team lead experience with IBM z / OS mainframe with experience in migration from 2.1 to 3.1
3)& & & & & z / 0S, ZVM
4)& & & & & Related tools / products including LPAR configuration, MQ Series (not a must have), DB2 COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS and mainframe ISV software.
5)& & & & & Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a fast-paced environment.
6)& & & & & Experience with various backup solutions and strategies.
7)& & & & & Ability to develop, teach and mentor other members of the team.
8)& & & & & Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
9)& & & & & Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others.
