Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:

The Graphics Supervisor (GS) will supervise the work of Graphic Design employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.

· Assist in identifying and correcting errors or problems.

· Assign tasks and projects based on team members ability and workload.

· Will perform quality control of customer orders and ensure products are up to Deluxe standards of excellence.

· Will lead their staff in the development of illustrations, animations and print layouts.

· Oversee the process of all ongoing projects.

· Coordinate with Graphic Designers, the Production Supervisor and Customer Sales & Service Supervisor to ensure orders are processed correctly within the workflow in a timely manner.

· Create Concepts for layout and production of a variety of products including signage, banners, screen printed items and other items

· Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand drawn illustration to be used across various media

· Make changes to designs based on client and CSR feedback

· Ensure final layouts are what client requested and all pertinent information has been included on production work orders.

· Create and Maintain SOPs

· Develop new processes to increase speed and productivity

· Have monthly one on ones

· Partner with GM to write and deliver semi-annual and annual reviews

Qualifications:

Familiarity with Graphic Design and Adobe programs

Previous supervisory experience or worked in a leadership position overseeing a group of people.

Excellent time management and critical thinking skills

Exhibit interpersonal skills with staff and customers and be an effective team player and leader

Must have a positive attitude, high level of integrity, honesty and professionalism.

Must be proficient with Adobe Illustrator CC and Adobe Photoshop CC and be able to work in a windows environment. Applicants must be detail-oriented, manage multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.

Be willing to be a team player and collaborate with other designers but also be self-motivated and able to develop creative projects independently.

Have a capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and using critical and flexible thinking skills.

Supervisor or Management Experience is required. Basic understanding of Graphic Design is helpful but not required.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
