We're excited to bring on a sales person here at Deluxe Detail, the main focus of this job will be to conduct sales calls and in person quotes here at our shop in downtown South Bend. This job requires standing, walking, and talking constantly throughout the day from inside the shop, around a customers vehicle, or from the secretary desk. This position also requires an individual to assist in secretary like duties such as filling papers, using our various softwares, and handling any paperwork or charting that is needed. We are looking for extroverted individuals committed to bettering themselves through learning and failure to grow as part of our close nit team we often refer to as a family. While not required, a fondness of cars is highly sought after here at Deluxe Detail.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Sales Receptionist/Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
  • Utilize Google Suite and other software to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for team members as needed.
  • Maintain front desk operations, including managing office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks to support various departments within the organization.
  • Ensure that all communications are handled efficiently and professionally.
  • Conduct Sales Calls with new and old customers
  • Learn & understand sales techniques and terminology used in the automotive protection industry.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and other computer software.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
