Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP TM Architect with strong functional expertise and hands-on experience in SAP TM 9.3 or higher. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of transportation management processes and the integration of SAP TM with SAP ECC (SD, MM) and other systems. The role requires an individual who can design and implement scalable, efficient transportation management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of SAP TM solutions, focusing on transportation order management, carrier tendering, freight cost management, and settlement.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into SAP TM solutions and ensure system alignment with business goals.
- Configure SAP TM for various transportation processes, including freight order planning, private fleet management, and integration with SAP ECC (SD/MM).
- Ensure smooth integration of SAP TM with other SAP modules (SD, MM, LE) and external systems.
- Oversee testing phases and resolve system issues to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in transportation management and implement best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
10 years of SAP experience with at least 6 years focused on SAP TM (9.3 or higher).
- Strong knowledge of SAP TM functionalities, including freight order planning, carrier tendering, and transportation settlement.
- Experience with SAP ECC integration (SD, MM) and transportation-related modules.
- Ability to design and configure transportation master data (zones, lanes, carriers).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- SAP TM certification (nice to have)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
