Role Overview: :
The Media Planner will be responsible for planning and executing cross-channel media campaigns and will own all day-to-day logistics for the planning cycle across multiple clients. You will be owning all direct deal relationships in addition to working closely with DELVE’s Programmatic, SEM, Social, and Client Advisory teams to bring omni-channel campaigns to life. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying up to speed on new publisher offerings and educating clients, team members, and key stakeholders on new capabilities and channels worth further exploring. The Media Planner reports into the Director of Media Planning.
Here’s What You’ll do:
- Collaborate with team to deliver cross-channel, KPI-driven media plans to assigned clients ranging from $50k-$10MM per quarter in verticals such as non-profit, travel, and insurance
- Collaborate with team members to maintain budget docs, media plans, campaign logs and insights to drive optimization, client outputs and reports
- Recommend tailored KPIs and provide a POV on how to measure recommended KPIs in partnership with the Reporting and Measurement teams; may include executing brand lift studies to measure media effectiveness
- Act as day-to-day contact with direct deal partners to ensure campaigns launch on time, tracking and reporting needs are met, and optimizations are made in order to improve performance and meet KPIs; Direct Deal partners may include (but are not limited to) Digital Display and Video, CTV/OTT, OOH, Radio/Audio, Print, and TV channels
- Own cross-channel pacing, budgeting, and reporting for live campaigns in partnership with Programmatic, SEM, Social, and Marketing Analytics teams
- Responsible for preparing and presenting client-facing deliverables inclusive of (but not limited to) media plans, performance updates, and campaign wrap reports
- Strong storytelling skills and ability to demonstrate the value the media is driving
- Recommend optimizations based on current performance and campaign insights
- Vet new partners and technologies while maintaining a strong relationship with new and existing publisher partners
- Work alongside media operations managers to utilize project management tools to create projects and tasks assigned within the Media team and across DELVE teams to maintain timelines and deliverables
- Manage aspects of creative operations inclusive of (but not limited to) gathering creative specs, communicating with client contacts to receive and deliver creative assets, and receiving client approval on creative deliverables
- Assist in billing and review/approve vendor invoices
- Create insertion orders and negotiate NDAs/MSAs to ensure vendors adhere to necessary contract terms
Here’s What You’ll Bring:
- 3-5 years of media planning experience (preferably in an agency setting) on digital and full-funnel campaigns with KPIs ranging from Brand Awareness to ROAS
- 1 year(s) experience in hands-on management of Social, Programmatic, or SEM campaigns
- Desire to work in a data driven environment
- Naturally curious about learning more about the industry and ad tech
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills
- Experience working with Google Campaign Manager as an ad server
- Ability to manage people and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and highly organized

In Colorado, the salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, plus bonus potential tied to individual and company performance, and is based on prior experience and qualifications.
