What you will do :
As a Class A driver you will play a vital role in the recycling process by driving trucks or tractor-trailers for collection services to ensure our customers’ expectations are met in transporting or disposing various materials to the appropriate location.
- Operates heavy duty commercial trucks and tractor-trailers
- Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports
- Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Maintains all required certifications required by DOT
- Adheres to all OSHA and company safety programs
- Maintains and protects all property
- Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and / or vehicles
- Maintains various records and / or logs as needed per DOT regulations
- Fuels truck at the end of each workday
- Operates front end loader / skid steer on as needed basis
