JOB SUMMARY
Demaclenko is seeking a passionate, technically-skilled Service Technician to analyze snowmaking equipment, diagnose, repair, start-up, and maintain/service new & existing Demaclenko snowmaking equipment as well as provide optimum customer service with our current and new customers in the Midwest region. This role applies knowledge of mechanical and electrical product features to diagnose & repair snowmaking equipment, and answers questions from customers related to product use, maintenance requirements, operations, and other information.
This is a full-time, salary position hiring at $55,000-$65,000 per year based on relevant experience & certifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Starts and maintains purchased equipment, including snow-guns and related snowmaking system work, throughout Demaclenko’s equipment offerings.
- Collaborates with Service department managers for daily work assignments & travel needs.
- Installs, inspects, maintains, operates, and/or repairs all snowmaking equipment, including extensive weekly travel as needed.
- Applies knowledge of mechanical and electrical product features, including electronics and software, for diagnosis & repair of snowmaking equipment and systems.
- Prepares weekly reports, status of equipment serviced, and delivers to the service manager, by using the corporate tools available within Demaclenko and/or HTI Leitner Group.
- Maintains relationships with potential & existing customers and in the ski resort industry.
- Answers inquiries and questions from customers related to product use, maintenance requirements, operations, and other related information.
- Partners with the HTI-Leitner Group families of companies for sharing job work as needed.
- Reports travel expenses in a timely manner and is proactive in debt collecting towards the customers in his Territory.
- May support fellow colleagues in other Territories when requested by Demaclenko.
- May participate to industry events such as Conferences, Trade Shows, Sales and Technical meetings and trainings when requested by Demaclenko.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Mechanical/Electrical certifications or accreditations from a technical school/institution.
- At least 3 years of Mechanical service & maintenance experience.
- At least 3 years of Electrical service & maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles (including cars and light trucks).
- Ability to travel frequently across North America and Europe.
- Previous experience in the ski industry.
- Authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Proficient in the English languages.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of Mechanical experience.
- 5 years of Electrical experience.
- Previous experience with ski resort mountain operations.
