Overview: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Consultant)

Responsibilities: Account Retention and Development
- Achieve annual revenue forecast
- Ensure compliance to contractual obligations
- Improve share of wallet within assigned accounts
Practice Development and Consulting
- Work with owner and staff to analyze and improve core competencies within the practice
- Review financial documents, including analysis of profit and loss statements
- Plan and manage budgets and cash flow
- Collect and analyze KPIs and create growth plans based on results
- Work with owner to set business goals
- Develop and review internal and external marketing plans and results
- Work with owner to improve employee engagement, including participation in practice’s staff meetings

_Training and Education_
- Lead and/or participate in webinars, sales trainings and networking meetings, both virtually and in-person
- Create and refine training content (financial, marketing, management, sales and procedures)
- Conduct one-on-one coaching and training with owners and staff as appropriate
Administration
- Communicate with customers and Oticon staff within 24 hours of receiving voice or email
- Travel for meetings, trainings and site visits. Up to 30% overnight travel is often expected
- Submit all expense reports no later than 7 days after the week of travel using the approved expense report form and receipts
- Complete special projects or assignments as directed by manager
Accountability
- This position reports to the Director of Business Development.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required
- 5 years consulting, management, and finance experience required
- Specific industry experience is preferred
