We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage cabling systems. The Cable Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our telecommunications infrastructure operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling systems for telecommunications and networking applications.
- Conduct network installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and voltmeters to perform electrical work related to cabling systems.
- Provide field service support, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Document all work performed, including service reports and installation details for future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cabling technology to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabling (Cat6, Fiber Optics,Etc) preferably as a service technician in the telecommunications or networking field.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and computer networking principles.
- Proficiency with hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field service environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Familiarity with electrical systems is a plus, along with any relevant certifications in telecommunications or networking.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.10 per hour
