As an integral member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the success of our firm. This role will expand upon the skills learned from the Civil Engineer I position and is supervised / mentored by two licensed professional civil engineers. ResponsibilitiesCommunicate via email and phone calls with clients and plan reviewersSchedule survey work and office support for survey crewPrepare comment responses to reviewers and plan revisions to address comments.Coordinate with jurisdictional agencies including, but not limited to : District Department of Transportation (DDOT), District Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE), Arlington County Department of Environmental Services (DES), and Fairfax County Land Development Services (LDS).Prepare open channel flow calculations, design culvert pipes, and rough grading plans. Prepare Existing Conditions Plans.Prepare Stopping Sight Distance Plans and Profiles.Prepare Utility Plans and Profiles.Review checklists for submission and complete plan details.Support senior engineers in project coordination and scheduling.Required Skills & ExperienceBachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.)
