What are the responsibilities and job description for the DevOps Intern position at Dematic?
We are seeking a software engineering intern (CI/CD) at Grand Rapids, MI and Atlanta GA.
You will be part of the DevOps team and participate in all aspects of continuous integration/delivery as part of the software development lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to implement pipelines, debug and resolve existing issues, support other scrum teams with DevOps issues, as well as work on release management, and on a whole lot of cloud-based technologies related to the provisioning and deployment of cloud resources and deployment of products.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 18-25/hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Work in a scrum development team environment to develop software
- Translate requirements into specific CI/CD tasks
- Participate in design reviews
- Work on creating new pipelines and supporting existing ones
- Work on cloud technologies - provisioning and deployment
- Work with cross-functional teams to release software products
- Proactively take on new and different tasks while also looking for ways to improve our systems.
- Learn and apply new tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Work on research and POC tasks
What We are Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Exposure to programming in one or more high-level languages ( Java, JavaScript, Python, Groovy), with the drive to want to learn more
- Strong CS fundamentals
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum software development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to get things done
- A good sense of humor and an ability to have fun
