This role allows for working night shifts, "6:00 pm to 6:00 am on a rotating roster, with the potential for overtime and occasional weekend work.

Tasks And Qualifications
What You Will Do in This Role
- Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
- Apply electrical test equipment to diagnose and fix electrical circuitry issues.
- Build and close work orders in the asset management system, ensuring accurate data entry for labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
- Address conveyance problems, determining and implementing the vital resources for resolution.
- Locate and supervise the spare parts' inventory.
- Perform sophisticated maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Assist in training customers to operate equipment.
- Respond to service calls, resolving equipment failures and faults promptly.
- Identify and tackle problems as they occur, taking appropriate steps to resolve them.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required. An Associate’s degree or vocational technical training is helpful, with niche skill training/certification being an added advantage.
- Proven senior-level knowledge with 5-7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
- Confirmed experience in the area of responsibility with successful demonstration of key tasks as outlined.
- Ability to maintain professional communications with onsite customer leadership, Dematic leadership, and technicians, both through email and in-person.
- Experience in leading projects, teams, and advising day-to-day operations and tasks to the onsite maintenance team.
- Capability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds each.
- Regularly engage in bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to safely climb ladders and gangways without limitation.
- Ability to work in cramped spaces, with dust, fumes, noise, and standing on concrete.
- Strong PLC and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
