Description
Department : Manufacturing Engineering
Summary : Working closely with our Manufacturing Engineering team, this position is responsible for, building jigs and fixtures for new products as well as maintaining and adapting current structures for existing products. This position requires a high level of creativity, teamwork, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Primary Duties :
- Design / build jigs and fixtures
- Troubleshoot issues / repair existing jigs and fixtures
- Provide training to production personal on fixture operation
- Collaborate with design engineering / manufacturing engineering to ensure quality and product flow
- Participate in planning committees.
- May be involved in product development in assigned product lines.
- Create prototypes and concept ideas for product lines.
