Role Description
The Dementia Enrichment Center located in Belton, TX seeks a part-time Enrichment Assistant for our day program. The Enrichment Assistant helps set-up enrichment activities and actively provides support, assistance, and leadership to promote and stimulate participation. They also help with serving meals and snacks, keeping the Center tidy and safe, and special events/outings. (Bonus: Personal care is not provided in our program.) Enrichment Assistants are an important part of our work, and we value their contribution and input.

Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for working with individuals living with dementia
- Experience working with or caring for individuals with dementia, or willingness to learn about their unique needs
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide companionship with empathy and professionalism
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be a self-starter with good problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications
- Ability to play piano or another musical instrument

Details
- 6-15 hours/week scheduled M-F, 8am-5pm
