Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team as we have launched our cafe! As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Our store hours are from 8am-2pm on Tuesdays-Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following recipes
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Upsell products and offer suggestions to customers
- Follow food safety procedures and guidelines
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in food handling and food safety practices
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with general food service operations
- Understanding of POS systems for order processing
