Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification processes, including utilization management as needed.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and any necessary instructions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the practice management systems to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting is required
- Familiarity with office management practices, including scheduling software Dentrix and patient management systems is required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
