QA Technician-Trim Sampling

Position Summary

Collect fat samples using a core drilling technique on all combos produced. In addition, an E. coli sample will be collected using a N60Plus drilling method or similar method on each combo produced.

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform assigned QA testing or source testing on raw materials and supplies.

· Testing shall be accomplished in compliance with local, state federal and company policies and procedures.

· Maintain sampling equipment in a sanitary condition.

· Maintain detailed and accurate records completing all required documentation of laboratory samples and testing.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Must be flexible to work within production hours.

Job Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Must demonstrate positive attitude, strong work ethic, decisive nature & high level of initiative

· Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work with minimal supervision effectively

· Mathematical and problem-solving skills

· Strong interpersonal & organizational skills

· Experience preferred but not necessary, willing to train

· Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse workforce and upper management

· Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US

· Must have the ability to read, write and speak English

· Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests to be eligible for employment.

· Must be able to pass a background check

Physical Demands:

· Ability to lift 50lbs frequently sit, stand, bend, and walk 8-10 hrs. day

Work Environment:

· Ability to work in cold or hot environment

· Obey safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities
