At Demmel Inc, we are on the lookout for an Industrial Controls Maintenance Technicianto help us expand into Illuminated Automotive trim and become the lead location within the international Demmel Group for this product family. In this role, you will be taking on the responsibility to industrialize Exterior and Interior Automotive components such as LED backlit emblems and badges, door sills, and wheel caps.
You Will:
- Take ownership for the safety, quality and optimization of existing and new manufacturing processes.
- Engage with all cross-functional teams within the Demmel organization to implement best practices and share lessons learned.
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance in a timely manner.
- Problem solves complex machine issues and resolves them safely and effectively.
- Test and troubleshoot robotic and automated systems to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Analyze and interpret technical data to improve system performance
- Provide technical support and maintenance for deployed systems
- Develop and maintain documentation for control systems and procedures
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and control technologies
- Train skilled employees to develop and strengthen skills across the organization
- Work hands on with engineering and maintenance team members.
You Have:
- Associate's degree in electrical engineering, robotics, mechatonics or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in robotics or control systems engineering
- Experience with industrial robots and automation systems
- Experience with injection molding, CNC machining, Stamping Presses and automated assembly is preferred
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to effectively report to management and provide accurate information in a quick, clear and concise manner
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including sensors, actuators, and power distribution
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional team
- Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization
There is no relocation package available for this position.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
