We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes for shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Manage the dispatching of goods to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Oversee materials management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Implement and maintain a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for efficient inventory tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff to foster a productive work environment.
- Collaborate with transportation management teams to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving processes.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in dispatching operations and materials management.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Expertise in inventory control techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) regulations is a plus.
- Experience with transportation management systems is beneficial.
- Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for operational efficiency.
