The Democratic Campaign Committee (DCC) serves as the governing parent company for a network of federal and state level political action committees, uniquely egineered to provide donors of all sizes the opportunity to hyper-filter their giving based on a wide range of characteristics, including; geographic area, issue position, previous leadership experience, committee assignments, gender, incumbency, and more.

Through this, the DCC is pioneering a first of its kind fundraising and disbursements marketplace that aims to serve as a "one stop shop" for political contributions.

Role Description:

Reporting directly to the National Chair, the Committee's National Political Director can be thought of as a countrywide Campaign Manager. This takes the form of a role crucial to the strategic, operational, financial, and outreach positions of the organization, with Incumbents being responsible for the following;
  • Assessment of the viability of all candidates eligible for disbursements from the General Fund, and from the organization's "Democratic Future Fund", for races at both the Congressional and state levels,
  • Assessment of the viability of all ballot and referendum initiatives eligible for disbursements from the Committee,
  • The development, maintenance, administration, and deployment, of the Committee's candidate and issues recruitment program,
  • The monitor, analysis, and reporting of legislation, referendum, ballot Initiatives, and statements arising from Republican Members of Congress, state legislators in key areas, and state executives in key areas, in order to better inform upon the Committee's approach to opposition marketing, advertising, fundraising, and outreach,
  • Assisting in the development of the Committee's Strategic Operating Plan, with particular emphasis on areas that pertain to what races and issues should be prioritized for funding, and in what regions, on a quarterly basis,
  • Overseeing the training, acclimation, and initial campaign runway, of all Candidates who will be enrolled in the "Democratic Future Fund" Program.
Qualifications:

Interested individuals should seek to embody the following characteristics and experience;
  • At least five (5) years of progressive experience in the area of; campaign management, political affairs, legislative strategy, issues advocacy, political consultancy, or a similar field,
  • The ability to work with a diverse team towards a similar goal,
  • The ability to succinctly communicate complex ideas and concepts,
  • A deep understanding of congressional and state-based election schedules, norms, etc,
  • A deep understanding of federal and key state-based legislative and ballot practices,
  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or higher in the field of Political Science, Government, Public Affairs, or a like field, as conferred by an accredited institution of higher learning.
Compensation:

The Committee shall remunerate this role at Internal Schedule Range III ($185,000-$210,000 per annum).

Comprehensive benefits shall be available to all full-time employees at the conclusion of Q3 of 2025, with subsidies to cover the cost of privately procured gap coverage, available to employees on a case by case basis.

The Committee shall also offer reimbursement for certain home office purchases, should an employee be remote.
