Position Overview:
DeMontrond Mitsubishi is looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales and Leasing Consultant to join our dedicated team. This role involves guiding customers through the buying and leasing process, ensuring they have an outstanding experience and find the perfect Mitsubishi vehicle for their needs.
DeMontrond Mitsubishi is part of the DeMontrond Texas City Campus! While your primary focus would be selling New Mitsubishi vehicles and pre-owned vehicles, you will have the ability to cross-sell our other makes as well (Chevrolet, Hyundai, and Genesis)!
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with customers by understanding their automotive needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest Mitsubishi vehicles, features, and leasing options to provide customers with accurate information and advice.
- Sales Process Management: Assist customers through the sales and leasing process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and trade-in evaluations.
- Negotiation: Negotiate vehicle prices and lease terms to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting dealership goals.
- Follow-Up: Proactively follow up with leads and previous customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Showroom Presentation: Maintain the showroom and vehicle displays to ensure they are clean, organized, and appealing to potential buyers.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation related to sales and leases.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team, service, parts and other departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is a plus.
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry, is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
