What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Intern position at DEN HARTOG INDUSTRIES INCORPORATED?
Assists Engineering Department to complete electronic print files for DHI proprietary product line, including tanks, metal goods, fittings, lid, skids, etc.
Verifies current product prints for accuracy, requiring the physical measurement of a variety of products.
Checks and updates product bills of materials as assigned.
Implements a new drawing format including the conversion of existing files as assigned.
Prepares a master set of prints including all product assemblies, fittings, lids, etc.
Prepares product assembly / installation drawings as required for customer service.
As time permits, works with plant engineer on facility engineering requirements.
Works on process improvement throughout the facility as assigned.
