Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Project and/or Technical Team Leaders to develop and execute program strategies from discovery through clinical development.
Lead project and technical teams to ensure timely and successful program advancement.
Develop and manage timelines, status reports, and project tracking tools (e.g., Gantt charts).
Support the oversight of program budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and maximizing asset value.
Identify resource gaps, assess program risks, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
Support relationships with alliance partners as well as other collaborators and consultants.
Provide periodic status updates to leadership and ensure proper documentation of key decisions.
Drive to ensure the application of governance processes for efficient decision-making.
Support R&D program management processes, including prioritization of objectives and milestone reviews.
Collaborate with business development on new collaborations and due diligence, as requested.
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree required; PhD in chemistry or biology preferred
7 years of relevant work experience, including 6 years of biopharma industry experience and 4 years of direct project management experience in drug development
Experience in late-stage research and/or early clinical development is strongly preferred.
Experience in rare disease development is a plus.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining strong relationships.

Salary : $163,000 - $205,000
