Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and data streams.
- Optimize data pipelines for efficiency, reliability, and scalability to handle large volumes of pharmaceutical data.
- Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to design and implement data models that align with the organization's data requirements and business goals.
- Administer and optimize databases, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based data storage solutions.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct regular backups to ensure data availability and security.
- Automate data processes and workflows using scripting languages and workflow management tools to streamline data operations.
- Analyze and optimize data processes and queries for improved performance and reduced latency.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure timely data delivery.
- Create comprehensive documentation for data engineering processes, including data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide data engineering support for their projects.
Qualifications / Skills :
Salary Range : $125,000.00 to $158,667.00 . Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
