JOB SUMMARY
Security Rover at the ConocoPhillips Towers facility; under the supervision of the Shift Lead, provide protection of work sites, personnel, and assets from events such as assault, theft, vandalism, harassment, and other disruptive incidents. Duties that are routinely accomplished by the Rover during their Monday through Friday, 50-hour shift, will include but are not limited to; outside Roving Patrols (both in a vehicle and on foot), Health and Safety checks, and Report Writing.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 4:30pm, 50-hour work week.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of law enforcement background OR equivalent of four (4) years private security service background OR equivalent military service in related security fields
- Fluent in the English language
- State of Alaska security officer certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification
- Mandatory defensive driving classes
- Minimum 21 years of age
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Enforce CPA policies and procedures
- Provide protection of parking lot, personnel, and assets from such events such as assault, theft, vandalism, harassment and other disruptive incidents
- Perform security patrols of General Parking Lot and Exterior of facility
- Respond to general alarms, power outages, and security breaches of any kind
- Maintain radio/telephone communications
- Willingness to perform other duties as required
- Willingness to work at various locations as required
