Under the supervision of the Security Director, the Security Supervisor provides supervision of security personnel assigned to the CIRI contract and is responsible for security of the personnel and property located at the CIRI Office Building in the event of assault, theft, vandalism, harassment and other disruptive incidents.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of law enforcement, military or security experience
- State of Alaska Unarmed Security Guard certification
- CPR / First aid certification or able to obtain
- Pepper Spray certified or able to obtain
- Able to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of experience in a supervisory or management function, which includes one year of administrative management in security documentation, indexing, file maintenance and review of security reportsAt least one year working in corporate building securityESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
