Job Description :
The Safety Health & Environmental Contractor is responsible for providing support to the Safety Health & Environmental Manager with the implementation and coordination of programs and projects related to Safety Health & Environment. Implement and participate in company Safety Health & Environmental policies, processes, procedures, and training.
Primary responsibilities :
Chemical reviews and support system migration
Hazard evaluations and risk assessments for job tasks and equipment
Support document management system migration
Machine guarding assessments
Safety training content updates and content development
Provide key support to other Safety Health & Environmental systems as directed
Experience / Background / Skills :
Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Safety Management or other related field
2 – 5 years experience in successfully implementing Safety, Health, and Environmental activities in a manufacturing setting or related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
General knowledge of plant operations including production, maintenance, and warehouse
Understand the safe operation and environmental impacts of equipment and processes
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required along with the ability to be able to communicate with audiences that have a broad range of background and understanding
Ability to organize and prioritize
