Job Responsibilities
Serves as a College Recruiter. working with schools and other locations to recruit and enroll students by conducting career fairs. establishing displays and making presentations to targeted potential students. Networks with guidance counselors and other representatives to strengthen and encourage educational partnerships.
Participates in events sponsored by educational consortia that build college and career awareness for area high school students. Represents the College at various community events that include the general public as well as targeted sectors from within business and industry. Speaks at meetings and other forums to provide 1nformat1on concerning the College's offerings and disseminates promotional college material.
Utilizes CRM to develop and deliver comprehensive, ongoing communications to prospects and students. Creates and manages events using the event management tool. Enters recruitment data. tracks contacts and event attendance, reviews activity reports, and provides data to appropriate personnel When needed. Uses data to Identify necessary changes to recruitment activities.
Provides admissions counseling services as an admissions coordinator during peak hours or as assigned. Advises and counsels students in career and academic areas. Stays abreast of program changes to ensure accurate advisement of students on program and course selection.
Participates in the implementation of the College's recruitment plan by developing student enrollment goals in collaboration with supervisor. Director. VP for Student Affairs. and academic units. Meets with deans and department chairs to assess crit1cal needs and effective strategies for encouraging growth. Assists in interpreting the College's ongoing marketing approach to assess growth strategies.

Must meet timelines and adapt to Changing Situations. Must initiate and manage relationships with outside agencies and businesses to optimize value and leverage opportunities for the College and students. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to develop, plan, and implement short-and long-range goals. Must possess a high level of written and oral communication. Must be able to speak proficiently before groups of people, perform a high degree of administrative and organizational efficiency in the areas of tracking data admission procedures and career counseling. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Must have a high level of initiative with very good organizational skills. Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and programs. Must have the ability to deal with customers (students. faculty and staff) is essential. Must be able to use a personal computer and quickly learn new software programs.
Additional Comments
A valid driver’s license is required. Travel to various schools. career centers, industries. businesses. and various other locations to recruit new students. Some ear1y morning hours. evening hours. and weekend hours are required to accommodate the schedule of various events. Ability to move up to forty (40) lbs.
