Job Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, administration, and management of the Student Services Division to include student development, student success, student activities and organizations, student government, counseling and disability services, and on-campus housing. Plans, organizes, directs and assesses the work of student services personnel responsible for student counseling, residential services, student activities/life, health services, and wellness/athletic programs.
  • Manages the Division budget and makes recommendations to ensure that programmatic needs are met and that institutional goals are accomplished. Generates and prepares all required statistical and compliance reports for institutional, state, and federal purposes.
  • Serves as Compliance Officer for Title IX, Section 504, Title II, and ADA. Responsible for the administration of student discipline and appeals, ADA compliance and other regulatory compliance associated with student services. Works collaboratively with Public Safety in matters related to student conduct matters and all required incident reporting.
  • Plans, coordinates and delivers programs of student development on campus. Responsible for the development of student events and activities that meet the diverse needs of the student body.
  • Oversees athletics for the college. Ensures that all activities are conducted within established regulations. Responsible for the planning and execution of special events for students.
  • Performs other related duties necessary to accomplish the educational objectives of the College and/or as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Master's degree plus five (5) years of progressively responsible related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate plus six (6) years of progressively responsible related work experience; or Doctorate plus five (5) years of related work experience in college administration in a post-secondary institution. Effective leadership emphasizing knowledge and understanding of student development theory and programs.

Additional Comments

Valid driver's license required. Works varied hours including weekends. Routine travel required.
