Assistant to Dennis Walters Golf Show

Job Summary
Assisting World Golf Hall of Famer and golf legend Dennis Walters with his traveling show. Dennis was paralyzed from the waist down 50 years ago and has been performing off the side of a golf cart with a specially made seat for 45 years. His special needs are in fact special, and this takes a very special person to be able to assist.

Duties

• Drive the Van for Dennis as well as pull the trailer with his golf cart.
• Be able to manage his special golf cart in an out of the trailer.
• Set up the show (you will be taught) for Dennis to perform.
• Assist Dennis getting in and out of car, and needs on a daily basis when on the road.
• Perform as part of his show by teeing up the balls, assisting with trick shots, and minimal speaking roles.

Skills

• Strong golf knowledge.
• Experience or understanding of the special needs, adaptive lifestyle.
• A strong sense of humor.
• Strength and ability to be able to lift the golf bag, move the cart in and out, and hook up the trailer among other physical tasks.
• Presentable and articulate.

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
