What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary School Teacher Grade 3 (2025-2026) position at Dennis Yarmouth Regional School District?
COMPENSATION: Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Be a positive role model and exhibit good behavior, management skills, and respectful interactions with staff and students.
- Teacher of record will work with other staff members to manage a second grade classroom.
- Data collection, progress monitoring, report writing, parent engagement, work as grade level "team member" and other program responsibilities.
- Must keep students safe and secure at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MA DESE license in Elementary Education.
- Master degree preferred.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Must be dependable, organized and communicate well with staff, students and parents.
- Must be flexible and participate as part of the team.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
