What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title III Grant Position SLIFE Teacher position at Dennis Yarmouth Regional School District?
COMPENSATION: $50 per hour, 30 hours total 2024-2025 school year (schedule TBD)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make a positive impact on student achievement by supporting teachers in their efforts to maximize effectiveness of their instructional practice through the integration of technology.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with administrators, teachers, and other staff to strengthen all aspects of the instructional program.
- Provide direct language support to Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Education(SLIFE)
- Provide strategies and instruction to enable students to access grade level curriculum either in small groups, or push into classrooms as needed.
- Perform relevant professional tasks or duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MA DESE English as a Second Language preferred
- Masters Degree preferred
- Current in using new instructional technologies, knowledge of their use in the classroom and willingness to learn additional technologies.
- Ability to work cooperatively with students, teachers, parents and administrators
- At least 1 year relevant experience preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
