Responsibilities – Product Specialist / Sales Consultant:
- Greet customers upon arrival and perform needs analysis including make, model, and features of desired vehicle
- Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicle
- Research availability of models and optional equipment using computer databases
- Work with Sales Managers and F&I Managers to negotiate sale and requirements for financing or vehicle lease
- Visually inspect inventory and maintain knowledge of current inventory
- Complete all paperwork and arrange for delivery and registration of vehicle
- Deliver and familiarize customer with vehicle
- Prospect for new customers
- Attend and complete required training and department meetings
Qualifications/Requirements - Product Specialist / Sales Consultant:
Prior automotive sales experience is not required. We train the right candidates for the exciting field of auto sales! If you have experience in retail, real estate, marketing, and/or customer service, you can succeed with the professional training and management we provide!- Motivation to be successful
- Demonstrate hard work ethic and high energy
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to prospect and sell in a team-oriented environment
- High School diploma or equivalent required, some college a plus!
- Maintain professional business attire and appearance
- Computer proficient
- Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance
- Ability to work retail days and hours of dealership
